The Hook:

Maximilius Hornswoggle wouldn't particularly stand out from any other widower multimillionaire with successful adult children and a taste for the finer things in life, keeping to himself within the lifestyle of the rich and famous, relatively quiet. Recently, he’s been making waves with the sudden announcement of accepting applicants for a little game he wants to host, with the winners going to receive a surprising reward: being named in his will for a pretty significant portion of his inheritance. 

The investigators are the lucky few who received a call to play this game, the host gracefully covering the costs of travel and accommodations to come to his lakeside home. What is awaiting them in the manor is going to be an unique experience unlike they've ever experienced before.
