GET ME OUT OF THIS SITCOM

One day, living your life, bizarrely improbable events and all, you awaken with a newfound awareness: you are a side character in a sitcom. You cannot stand this, but unfortunately you keep getting pulled back into the crazy plots. You eventually connect and find others who are aware of the situation, and how you all share a single blazing need: getting the hell out of here.


Designed for the One-Page RPG  Jam 2024,  this is a game heavily inspired by Friends, Seinfeld, That '70s Show, Modern Family, and other sitcoms. 

A silly game about B-plot characters attempting to escape the shenanigans of the Main Cast and free themselves, all while The Script tries to get them back in line with The Sitcom and back to their blissful unawareness of being side characters.

One player takes on the role of The Script, while the other players take on a character archetype that determines how good they are at escaping certain subplots with the Main Cast, trying their hardest to avoid losing all their newfound awareness of what they are.
